About Me

bty
Highly adaptable, skilled in complex systems, and proactive.

Hello there! I’m Jamie, and my world is a dynamic blend of deep technical expertise, hands-on craftsmanship, and a genuine connection to the natural world. From troubleshooting complex IT systems to milling raw timber, and from building intricate networks to carving new trails on my property, I thrive on bringing ideas to life and transforming challenges into tangible results.

I Create Products Not Just Arts

I am a professional who values adaptability, practical problem-solving, and creative execution.

Whether I’m optimizing a network, milling lumber, crafting a unique wooden piece, or exploring new trails, I bring the same dedication and drive to excel. I’m always eager for new challenges and opportunities to apply my diverse skill set.

I am a hands-on individual with a diverse array of passions that span from the natural world to the digital realm. I thrive on bringing ideas to life, whether it’s through transforming raw materials, nurturing my property, or crafting engaging online experiences.

My connection to the land is a cornerstone of who I am. On my 4-acre wooded property, you’ll often find me at work with my tractor, engaging in landscaping, ensuring driveway maintenance, and meticulously building trails. I also embrace sustainable practices by using my chainsaw to clear deadfall trees after storms; this fallen timber then finds new purpose at Peachtree Mill, my portable sawmilling service, where I transform logs into valuable, usable lumber.

This passion for wood extends to Bye-Jay.com, a space I dedicated to my hobby woodworking, where I design, build, and offer unique handcrafted items for sale. Beyond the tangible, I’m also a skilled website developer, and I’m proud to have personally created and maintained the online homes for all my ventures, including this site.

And for a delightful contrast to my more industrious pursuits, I share my life with two beloved Ragdoll cats, who are the charming stars of The Fluffinator, a website I crafted to share their playful antics and fluffy personalities.
